THE Himamaylan City Abaca Growers Association (Hicagfa) has received a water system project under the Upland Ecosystem Management Program of the Provincial Environment Management Office (Pemo).
Hicagfa is an upland association in Barangay Carabalan in Himamaylan City.
Negros Occidental Eugenio Jose Lacson led the turnover of the project at the Capitol Grounds in Bacolod City Monday, May 24, 2021.
This included 32 drums and 50 rolls of water hose which are the primary materials needed for the association's farming needs.
In 2020, the association has already initiated growing bamboos with a total of 2,000 bamboo culm. (EPN)
