THE 37th Philippine Chemistry Congress opened at the SMX Convention Center in Bacolod City on July 26.

Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson with Dr. Fabian Dayrit, Dr. Glenn Alea, and Roselyn Usero, among others, led a ceremonial ribbon cutting to signal the opening of the exhibit.

Governor Lacson said, "It is my pleasure to welcome the Integrated Chemists of the Philippines here in Negros Occidental."
