A TOTAL of 15 persons in Bacolod City were arrested by Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) for violating curfew hours from May 10 and 11.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, spokesperson of BCPO, said the 15 violators were arrested in various barangays for violating curfew hours from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Of 15 violators, five of them were arrested by personnel of Police Station 7 in the area of Barangay Mansilingan, while 10 others were arrested by personnel of Police Statins 3, 4, 6, and 8 in the areas of Barangays 26, 33, Bata, Vista Alegre, and Pahanocoy.
The violators were given a warning and were released, but some of them were also charged for violation of Article 51 of Revised Penal Code for disobedience to person on authority.
Mayor Evelio Leonardia earlier issued Executive Order (EO) 22, providing for the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of EO 21, Series of 2020.
The curfew hours starts from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. of the following day.
These restricted hours shall require any person to already have returned to his/her home and stay there until the lapse of the restriction.
