THREE persons were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental in the past two days.
In Himamaylan City, Melvin Talita, 29, of Escalante City, was arrested while Jesryl Lingamen of Himamaylan City escaped when police conducted a drug bust at Barangay Aguisan in Himamaylan City.
Police confiscated during the operation were six sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride), and drug paraphernalia.
In Calatrava town, police collared Romie Tejamo Jr., 24, of Barangay Lipaton, at Barangay Lo-ok.
Police recovered from him a sachet of suspected shabu, and the P500 marked money.
On Wednesday, Keith John Castel, 32, of Barangay 9, Kabankalan City, an eighth top drug personality in the city, and a high-value target of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) was arrested at CV Garcia Avenue in Barangay 7.
He yielded a sachet of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, P5,520 in cash, cellular phone, and the P500 marked money.
In Cadiz City, Emanuel Antonio, 55, of Barangay Zone 4, was collared in the said village three days ago after police seized from him four sachets of suspected shabu amounting to P4,000, the P500 marked money, and cash amounting to P3,250.
