ABANG Lingkod party-list Representative Stephen Paduano said on Friday, August 17, he will consult first his future political plans with his leaders before he makes a decision.
Paduano is now on his second term as congressman. He still has one term left.
He is also rumored to be interested in politics in Bacolod City after he has supported some candidates in the barangay polls in May this year.
Paduano said he has been thankful to the people for his vibrant political career that totally transformed his life.
He was a former national commander of the Revolutionary Proletarian Army. He joined the government service after the rebel group forged an agreement with the government.
Paduano was recently appointed as minority deputy floor leader after the assumption of former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as the speaker of the House of Representatives.
Paduano said that he likes his position now because he could independently do his job as the real fiscalizer at the House of Representatives. (TDE/VoxPop Bacolod)
