CHIEF Superintendent John Bulalacao, regional director of Police Regional Office (PRO)–Western Visayas told VoxPop Bacolod on Monday, August 20, that there is no relief order for Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, acting director of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO).
Reports have been circulating last week regarding Ebreo's relief, which is said to be implemented this month.
Ebreo, in a media briefing last week, said that he will obey the order of the higher headquarters if there is indeed an order to relieve him from his current post.
"We (policemen) just come and go. If there is an order, we will follow," he added.
But Bulalacao dismissed such reports, claiming that Ebreo has been doing well as head of the city police force.
Ebreo was assigned as officer-in-charge of BCPO in November 2017.
He was even promoted by the Philippine National Police (PNP) to acting director of BCPO two months ago.
