A TOTAL of 100 scholarship slots will be given by the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental through its Negros Occidental Scholarship Program (NOSP) for a welding training for 40 days.
Negrense youth who are residents of Negros Occidental, at least 21 years old and at least a high school graduate may avail of the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (NC I) with enhancement in Flux Cored Arc Welding training with free meals and board and lodging.
The 40-day training will be conducted at the Power Foundation Training Center located at Marapara Heights in Barangay Bata with Tesda-accredited trainers.
NOSH head Karen Dinsay said this program and training will amply prepare the applicants for work abroad, particularly in Japan.
Interested applicants may submit their bio-data, NSO birth certificate, high school diploma, Form 137 or 138, six pieces passport size and two pieces 1x1 (Corporate Attire), Certificate of Indigency, and Medical tests (x-ray, hepa-B, drug test) at the NOSP or PIO offices of the Capitol.
