THE Negros Occidental Provincial Government will release soon the Quick Response (QR) code identification cards for fully vaccinated individuals.
Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said the first to be released with their respective QR Code IDs are those who were vaccinated at the Barangay Capitolyo.
"Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson and the members of the Provincial Board who were already fully vaccinated will be the first to be given their QR Code IDs," Diaz said.
Diaz added that the local government units (LGUs) will be given copies of their vaccination records so that they could start uploading the names of those fully vaccinated in their respective localities.
The LGUs will also be given the database so that they would be the ones to release the QR codes.
Diaz said the QR Codes are important especially for travel for fully vaccinated individuals.
Meanwhile, Capitol continues to deliver Covid-19 vaccines to the LGUs in the province.
On July 12, the Province delivered 300 vaccine vials to Escalante City; Cadiz City - 300 vials; Toboso - 150 vials; Calatrava - 88 vials; Victorias City - 300 vials; E.B. Magalona - 200 vials; Silay City - 500 vials; Talisay City - 306 vials; Bago City - 512 vials; Valladolid - 113 vials; Pulupandan - 100 vials; Pontevedra - 210 vials; Binalbagan - 60 vials; Kabankalan - 330 vials; and Candoni - 150 vials.
