

AT LEAST 677 corn farmers from the different barangays in San Carlos City received food packs and financial assistance from the Department of Agriculture facilitated by the City Agriculture's Office (CAO) on February 19, 2021, at the City Auditorium.
The beneficiaries from Barangays Prosperidad, Codcod, Nataban, Buluangan, Quezon, Guadalupe and Bagonbon each received a half-sack of rice, two whole dressed chickens, two trays of eggs and P3,000.
Prudencio Bayawa Jr., in-charge of high-value crop of CAO, said the grantees were listed under the Basic Sector in Agriculture, whose livelihoods were greatly affected by the pandemic.
Engineer Devitt Dollosa, city agriculturist, assisted the representatives from the Provincial Agriculture's Office during the distribution. (PR)
