THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-Negros Occidental Third District Engineering Office recently turned over the multi-purpose building (covered court) worth P2 million to Cauayan National High School in Cauayan town, Negros Occidental.
The said structure which was funded under the district's Outside Infra program will benefit the junior and senior high school students of the said school. It will also serve as a venue for various school activities and events.
School principal Vanessa Dawn Fegidero said the realization of the project is a manifestation that partners such as DPWH and other stakeholders are education-oriented, having in mind the development of school facilities to provide the needs of the students.
In addition, DPWH will be constructing four more projects in the said school, composed of one two-storey information and communication technology (ICT) laboratory building, one three-storey regular workshop building, and two two-storey, six-classroom school buildings.
These school building projects are envisioned to provide conducive venues and facilities for quality education, enabling them to realize their full potential. (PR)
