A FEMALE drug pusher was arrested by operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental Provincial Office and San Carlos Police in a joint buy-bust operation on March 14 on Ylagan Ext., Barangay 5, San Carlos City.
Arrested was Erlinda Escobar Palabrica alias "Inday" and seized were more or less five grams of substance believed to be shabu worth of P34,000.
The operation was carried out on a report via text sent through "Isumbong Mo kay Wilkins!" platform, which was created to allow the public to report illegal drug activities in their neighborhood through the agency's 24/7 call and text hotlines, PDEA said.
Cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being prepared for filing in court against the suspect.
