ACTING Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator Lucille Gelvolea said that the lifestyle check should cover all the Capitol department heads for the purpose of transparency.
Gelvolea said the Office of the Ombudsman should not only conduct a lifestyle check on few department heads but all of them to show to transparency to the people.
This, after John Chiong, national commander of Task Force Kasanag, said he has submitted to the Ombudsman the letter-complaint asking the anti-graft court to conduct a lifestyle check on three department heads of the Provincial Government.
Chiong said that he filed the request after a concerned citizen submitted to him copies of the official statements of assets and liabilities (SALN) of the department heads which does not allegedly match with their respective standard of living.
Chiong refused to name the concerned department heads.
