Lacson leads distribution of NOCHP cards in Toboso

MORE than a thousand beneficiaries of the Negros Occidental Comprehensive Health Program (NOCHP) received their cards in a distribution held in the Municipality of Toboso, Thursday, January 30, led by Governor Bong Lacson.

NOCHP record showed that as of December 31, 2019, there are already 326,076 member-families who are enrolled with NOCHP province-wide and 24, 294 of which are from the First District.

In Toboso, a total of 3,018 member-families are already enrolled and 25 percent of which are senior citizens.

Mayor Richard Jaojoco thanked Gov. Lacson for personally visiting their town to distribute the NOCHP cards.

A total of 523,537 patients were already served province-wide as of December 31, 2019 and 2,805 patients from Toboso have already availed of the NOCHP benefits.

An orientation on the NOCHP rules, policies and procedures was also held before the distribution of cards at the Toboso Sports and Cultural Center.

Also present in the activity were First District Board Members Araceli Somosa and Rommel Debulgado and other local officials. (TDE)
