A MALE student was stabbed inside the Bacolod City National High School in Barangay Taculing on Tuesday, July 24.
Senior Inspector Wilfredo Benoman Jr., head of Police Station 6, identified the victim as Dino Panoncio, 21, of Barangay Handumanan. He is under the Alternative Learning System (ALS) program of the school.
Panoncio was talking to a friend at the school canteen when four unidentified male students, who were allegedly minors, approached him and asked if what group does he belong, Benoman said.
When he answered, one of the four suspects kicked him while the other one suddenly stabbed him with a ballpen on his back, and fled.
He sustained a minor injury and was rushed to a hospital.
Benoman said they have yet to identify the perpetrators.
The case is referable to the barangay level, he added.
