ONE died, while two others were wounded after a head-on collision of two motorcycles along Provincial Road, Barangay San Juan, Pontevedra on Sunday, December 15.
The fatality was identified as Billy Sitchon, 23, of Barangay Baliwagan, San Enrique. Wounded were John Cesar Celis, 25, of Barangay I-Pob, Pontevedra, and John Vincent Telic, 23, of Hda. Monserat, Barangay DSB, Pontevedra.
Based on the police report, Telic and Celis were traversing from west to east in Barangay San Juan, Pontevedra on board their motorcycle.
However, they collided with the motorcycle driven by Sitchon, who was traveling from the opposite direction.
Sitchon was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician at Valladolid District Hospital, while the two sustained injuries and were brought to Bacolod City Hospital for further medication.
