A MAN is facing charges for incest for allegedly raping his three children at their house in Cauayan, Negros Occidental Monday, July 1.

Police withheld the names of the suspect and the three minor-victims.

Chief Inspector Gary Alan Resuma, town police chief, said they already filed the case against the suspect before the Provincial Prosecutor's Office on Tuesday, July 3.

Resuma said the suspect was left alone with his three children aged six to nine while his wife went to work. He was allegedly drunk when he committed the crime.

He said the suspect's family has complained about him several times for the same offense and also for reportedly abusing his wife physically, but due to insufficient evidence, he was not arrested.

The suspect was just recently placed under police custody through the help of the barangay officials when the same incident happened three days ago, Resuma said.

His three daughters were assisted by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

His other daughter with his previous partner also reportedly experienced sexual abuse from him.

Resuma said the suspect admitted the allegations against him before the fiscal, claiming that he was usually drunk when he does it.

The suspect is detained at the police station. (GYM)
