AS President Rodrigo Duterte declares today, June 15, as a holiday throughout the country because of the observance of Eid'l Fitr, there is one Muslim community in Bacolod City who will celebrate such occasion tomorrow, June 16.
This was confirmed by Dar Al-Dhikr Islamic Call and Guidance Center Bacolod Phils. President Imam Omar Betita.
They cannot hold the observance today due to some reasons.
Eid'l Fitr is a holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan.
President Rodrigo Duterte issued Proclamation No. 514 declaring June 15 as a regular holiday throughout the country to mark the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
Betita said that today will just be a preparation for the Saturday's occasion.
