THE Negros Occidental Provincial Government will only deploy skeletal force by assigning employees in shifts amid the threat of coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
Lawyer Rayfrando Diaz, provincial administrator, said Wednesday, March 18, that they have already tasked the departments heads to make their respective plans for the deployment of the skeletal force in their offices by assigning employees in shifts.
"We want the employees to take some rest and prepare themselves against Covid-19," Diaz said.
He said once the plan is ready, it will be presented to the governor for approval.
Earlier, Lacson said that they have been debating about the four-day work week and that he would prefer reducing the number of hours for the employees' work rather than having a four-day work week.
The Capitol is addressing the delay of the employees traveling from their homes to the office and vice versa due to boundary control implemented in Bacolod City and other local government units that caused them to be late from work.
