NO ILLEGAL drugs were found at the Bacolod-Silay Airport during the routine inspection conducted by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office (PDEA-Nocppo) Airport Interdiction Unit (AIU) and its K9 Unit on March 2.
Random paneling and profiling of passengers were held at the cargo warehouses, baggage conveyors, as well as the departure and arrival lobbies of the Airport.
The inspections were carried out with the aid of narcotic detection dogs (NDDs) Gabriel and Loopey of the PDEA K9 Team.
The said routine operation serves as a deterrence and prevention of possible entry and exit of illegal drugs within the area. (TDE)
