TASK Force Kasanag (TFK) is asking the Office of the Ombudsman-Visayas to conduct a lifestyle check on some employees of the Provincial Government.
TFK founder John Chiong said he is just forwarding some of the complaints received by his office, including copies of the statement of assets liabilities and net worth (SALN) of the concerned employees and some photos of their respective properties.
He pointed out: "We are concerned about their properties. Some are worth millions of pesos which do not match what they have been earning especially their salaries. They have no business, so far, so how did they acquire those properties?"
He refused to name the concerned employees pending the investigation of the Ombudsman.
"That's why it's for the Ombudsman to conduct the lifestyle check and find out if these complaints are true or not," Chiong added.
He said some of the concerned employees have declared in their SALN meager amount of net worth that includes their assets and liabilities. "It's too far from their lifestyle."
Chiong said TFK is an anti-crime, anti-corruption crusader and that they are only responding to complaints being submitted to his office and forward it to the concerned government agencies for appropriate action.
