THE bulk of the proposed P4.3 billion provincial budget for 2020 will go to personal services (PS).
Based on the proposed budget, the PS for next year is pegged at P2.1 billion -- P780 million will be for maintenance and other operating expenses, while P1.2 million for special purpose appropriations.
The proposed General Fund for 2020 is P4.2 billion, and P121 million will come from Economic Enterprise Department operations.
It will come from tax revenue of P98,000,000; non-tax revenue of P379,957; and P719 million and the Internal Revenue Allotment of P3,725,935,964 for a total of P4,203,893,683.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Board has agreed to move its regular session this week from Tuesday afternoon, November 26, to 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 27.
Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer said the move is to give priority to the passage of the proposed 2020 budget.
