THE Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees (Pace) is asking the provincial government through Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. to grant them the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) incentive bonus by virtue of the Department of Budget and Management Circular.
In a board resolution passed on November 29, Pace cited that they have been granted the new registration of the CNA with the Civil Service Commission and Department of Labor and Employment as evidenced by their certificate registration of Public Sector Union.
Pace treasurer Ruben Diamante said they expect the CNA incentive bonus will be included in the extra bonus which will be determined by the governor.
He said each employee was given the CNA incentive bonus amounting to P12,000 last year.
The Pace resolution also cited the DBM circular on the grant of the CNA incentive for the year 2018 which provides for the granting of the CNA of up to P25,000 for local government units with existing and duly registered CNA and therefore covered their members the provincial government employees, department heads, and officials.
The approval of the CNA is an important step towards the enhancement of a harmonious working atmosphere in the agency and its mutual compliance by the parties is look up to and monitored by the CSC, the board resolution further stated. (TDE)
