SERIES of Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) caravan of services were conducted in the City of San Carlos from February 07 to 14.
These activities were initiated by the Local Government Unit of San Carlos City, City Health Office and other stakeholders for the simultaneous conduct of RCSP Serbisyo Caravan in Barangays Buluangan, Nataban and Guadalupe, all of San Carlos City, Negros Occidental to extend the basic services of the government to the local residents of the said barangays.
The Philippine Army is aggressively pursuing for lasting peace and development especially in Negros Island and urges the LGUs to take lead in bringing the government closer to the people by providing sustainable delivery of basic services to the community.
Col. Inocencio Pasaport, 303rd Brigade commander said, "The Retooled Community Support Program is part of the government's whole-of-nation approach to bring projects, programs and activities to the people while ensuring that development is sustained and peace is being promoted. It was formulated in order to strengthen the CSP initiatives of the military and to make community driven efforts of Local Government Units (LGU) with the implementation of the RCSP Local Chief Executives (LCEs) will be champions of the RCSP through their programs, projects and activities (PPAs) that are geared towards institutionalizing sustainable peace and development."
