PASTORA Elaine Eleazer of Miracle Central has enjoined the faithful to pray for President Rodrigo Duterte.
She said the president needs the Lord badly.
She offered a prayer to the president, "may your grace and mercy shine upon him Lord! His heart is hurting from unhealed wounds and we pray that you would touch these areas. Please, set him free by your love and truth that only you can do. May the anger in his heart melt through the goodness of the Lord's unending love, she said. "May our President's love of country give him the strength to restrain himself from saying needless things that hurt and divide."
Lately, Duterte has expressed negative remarks against God, the 12 Apostles who joined Jesus Christ in the Last Supper and the author of the Bible which sparked reactions from the Catholic faithful.
