CERES Negros FC continued their dominance in the Philippines Football League with another 4-1 win over JPV Marikina over the weekend at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

The Busmen played a solid first half with Bienvenido Marañon opening the scoring binge in the 8th minute. Jeffrey Christiaens' right-footed shot in the 21st minute doubled the count but 10 minutes later Tsubasa Suzuki connected a goal to cut the lead, 2-1 at the half.

Patrick Reichelt nailed back-to-back goals in the final half in just five minutes after tapping an Arnie Pasinabo through ball in the 78th minute followed by another in the 83rd minute off a perfect pass from Stephan Schrock.

With the win, Ceres FC remained undefeated in four games while JPV took the No. 4 with two wins and four losses.

Ceres FC will next face league's No.2 Davao Aguilas on Wednesday, May 2, still at the Rizal Memorial.

It can be remembered that the Liga Futbol Inc. (LFI), PFL's governing body, has disclosed that the home matches of Davao Aguilas FC, Global Cebu FC, and JPV Marikina FC will temporarily be held at approved alternate venues – the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium and Binan Football Stadium upon the request of the said clubs.
