AIMED to bring the Asian Football Club Cup Asean Zonal Finals Leg 2 live to its fans, the Ceres-Negros FC and the City Government of Bacolod will set up a free viewing of the match tonight in front of the Government Center.
This was confirmed by Club Tournament Administrator Warren Concepcion who said that the event will commence at 6:30 p.m. followed by the match's live airing. "I hope the weather will be fine," he added.
The final leg between the defending champions Ceres Negros FC and reigning runner-up Home United FC of Singapore is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
Through this joint effort, it will further widen public awareness of the sport which has continuously grown popularity in Bacolod and Negros Occidental for years.
It was recalled that Bacolod City government also put up a free viewing of the 2018 Fifa World Cup Final match between France and Croatia last month.
To ensure the safety of the viewing public, Bacolod City Police Office will be assigning police personnel around the vicinity.
