NEGROS Occidental High School '94/90, Bacolod City National HS '74, and N'85 duckpin teams will try to solidify its lead in the last group games of the 9th Triangular Bowlfest for Unity 2018 elimination round at Negros Super Lanes on Sunday, July 8.
N94/90 bowlers have extended their lead with 246 pins cushion from closest pursuer B'81mix in Bracket "A."
The number one seed has an aggregate pinfall of 6,326 behind Toto Flores, Katoy Deocadiz, Joemarie Sevilla, Mike Corral, and Jennifer Jamora.
Looking forward to joining the up-the-ladder finals are Domingo Lacson NHS '75 with 6,078 and N95 mix with 6,027.
Completing the top 4 teams in other brackets are B74 - 5,871; N71 - 5,746; N87 - 5,696; N84 - 5,659 in "B" while in ''C'' are N85 - 5,984; B85 - 5,653; D77 - 5,570; D88 - 5,559.
After the eliminations, top seeds of each group will enjoy a twice-to-beat advantage in the championship round and wait for the challenger in the up-the-ladder finals on July 15.
This five-man duckpin event is organized by a group of volunteers headed by Noela Borja of BCHS/BCNHS and members Glori Libo-on of NOHS, and Rowena Juarez of DLNHS.
