BACOLOD City-hailed Genesis "Kimishi" Servania (31-1-0 with 14 KOs) is up for another tough challenge in his career when he faces Mexican Carlos "Memin" Carlson (23-4-0 with 14 KOs) tonight in the super bantamweight division in the undercard of Jerwin Ancajas-Alejandro Santiago Barrios IBF super flyweight title fight at Oracle Arena, Oakland.

Servania is coming off back-to-back knockout victories against Jason Butar Butar last May in Quezon City and Kittiwat Sirichotchayakun late last year in Japan.

Carlson is also coming from a knockout win against Jesus Antonio Lopez Armenta.

Servania's trainer and fellow Bacolodnon Mark Millegen said that they are ready for the fight. "Genesis has been training so hard for this fight. He's well-conditioned," he said. "We will do everything we can for the Philippines most especially to our fellow Bacolodnons," he added.

This fight is presented by Bob Arum's Top Rank and supervised by the California State Athletic Commission.
