REYNOLD "Cocoi" Domalsin is a Baguio boy that has a body building royal blood running in his veins following the footsteps of his father, body building legend and three times Mr. Philippines title holder Nick Domalsin Sr.
Cocoi, as he is fondly called, competes in local, national and international events and dedicates his every stint in honor of his father's legacy as one of the pioneers of body building in the city of Baguio.
Cocoi, who is a Mister Philippines title holder himself, competes with passion and dedication to what his father started alongside his beautiful wife Leigh Guda Domalsin who is a multi-titled body builder herself.
Together, they bag titles after titles of local, national and international competitions that they participate in. But even with the successful stints, they treat each competition a learning experience. His latest stint was the 2019 Mr. Universe in Humburg, Germany where he placed 2nd over-all.
For Cocoi, aside from competing to honor his father's legacy and for his family especially for his handsome son, he also dedicates his stints to his hometown Baguio City, who he hopes to recognize his achievements.
"One of the best feeling is being recognized by your own, after winning in Germany holding my trophy on my way home to the Philippines a group of OFW took notice of me and started asking questions about what I won basing on the trophy that I am holding. I felt that they are proud of me as their kababayan took a picture with me and gave me chocolates to show that they are proud of me," Cocoi said.
This year, Cocoi also won second place in Mister Universe in Humburg, Germany, Mutant-Open third place Open, fourth place in Muscle Contest-Masters Champion in 80kg+ category, overall champion in Mister Classic Philippines, champion in Global Classic in Hongkong, second place in Mister Sangyaw Open, overall champion in Mister La Trinidad Open and second place as Mister Panagbenga.
"Every competition, win or loss, I always comeback to Baguio to recharge, Baguio gives me the chills that soothes my soul as if my father showers me with renewed energy," Domalsin added.
