THE Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental has prepared around 6,250 rapid diagnostic kits for patients under investigation (PUI) for coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in the province.

Governor Yevgeny Emano said this is to ensure that the province will remain safe and protected against the deadly disease.

The Provincial Health Office (PHO) has also prepared target priorities as to who will have to undergo the testing once the mass testing starts.

"Kadto rang mild PUIs, kadtong naay influenza-like illness) if dili nag clustering, meaning three to five people in one group nga nag ILI, magsuspect na dayon ta, mao ni sila ang unahon natog kuha, mga PUMs, mga elderly 60 above and those with comorbidities, the highly risk pregnant mothers," Emano said.

Also included in the target priorities are those stranded individuals in the borders of the province, health workers and frontliners.

"Kaniadto, hulaton pa pila ka adlaw ug semana ang mga resulta sa mga PUIs sa swab test, apan karon tungod sa dakong pagpangandam sa probinsya, kinse minutos nalang ang paabuton sa pasyente ug mahibaluan na ang resulta," the Capitol added.
