MISAMIS Oriental Yevgeny Emano is urging all village chiefs in the province to set aside politics and continue serving their respective constituents instead.
Emano made the statement after chapter presidents of the Liga ng mga Barangay (LNB) have already picked the new set of LNB officers for the province, which is led by Leonard Winstanley.
The governor is hopeful that all barangay captains will now focus on how to better serve and improve the lives of their constituents.
He also hopes that all village chiefs will not refuse the programs of the Provincial Government despite political differences.
This after Emano vowed to bring Barangay Bambi (Bililhon Ang Matag Baryohanon Ipalambo) program to the 424 villages in the province.
The capitol's top official assured that he will set aside political affiliations in bringing basic services to the people.
Barangay Bambi is the capitol's program to empower each barangay by giving P300,000 worth of projects.
"Ang among pondo mahimong magamit paghatud sa panubig, covered court, pagsemento sa dalan, ug uban pa kung asa ang kapitan mismo ang mag-implement," Emano said.
Emano also asked every leaders of the barangay not to turn down the emergency vehicle he called "Bambi-Kab" which is useful during emergency situations.
