MISAMIS Oriental Governor Yevgeny Emano said the good financial housekeeping award given by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) is proof that the present administration is transparent and has managed the people's money well.

Emano said the provincial government is reaping the fruits of the different efforts undertaken to save the capitol from the debts left by the previous administration

The provincial government is among the local government units who passed the DILG's good financial housekeeping recently.

In its daily press briefer, the capitol said the award also proves that the Provincial Government did not abuse nor misuse the taxes of the people.

The capitol also said never did the provincial government received an audit observation memorandum (AOM) from the Commission on Audit (COA) in the past six years.

"Nagpasabot kini nga walay problema o kakulangon ug sagol binuang ang pagpadagan sa kagamhanang lokal sa Misamis Oriental said," the capitol said.

The capitol explained that all transactions that involved money have passed through proper and legal process.

"Gikan sa pag-inspection sa ballpen padulong sa heavy equipment nga gipalit sa gobyerno, wala silay nakit-ang problema nga ika-isyu sa AOM labi nga tanang item nga gipalit niagi sa saktong proseso," the capitol said.
