NINE persons were arrested for violating the measures imposed during community quarantine.
In Don Carlos, Bukidnon, five individuals were arrested for public intoxication and violating the quarantine protocol.
Police said the suspects were caught in the act having a drinking spree in public, violated the social distancing, and not wearing face masks.
The suspects were identified as Ron Emnas, 27, a beneficiary of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP), John Bryan Sayan, 31, Ian Verozosa, 29, Donald Parojinog, 38, and Ronald Patolilid, 32.
The persons are now under the custody of Don Carlos police station.
Meanwhile, four individuals were arrested in Capisnon, Barangay Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro for engaging in illegal cockfighting.
The suspects were identified as Yolandi Digal, 44, Ryan Sadora, 29, Rosel Saligumba, 33, and Constancio Morales, 64.
Confiscated from the suspects were one piece of fighting cock (talisay) and three pieces of 100 paper bills. (PJO)
