MISAMIS Oriental Governor Yevgeny Emano has ordered the strict implementation of the quarantine pass requirement across the province.

In an executive order signed Monday, April 13, the governor said no person shall be allowed to enter the province or pass through any of its quarantine control points or checkpoints unless a home quarantine pass or road/travel pass is presented.

The home quarantine pass should be presented by those who will purchase essentials like food in public markets, groceries and supermarkets; buy medicines or prescription drugs from drugstores and pharmacies; transact with banks or other financial establishments; or seek treatment in hospitals or medical and dental clinics.

The home quarantine pass, which is issued by the village chief where the said person resides, must be presented together with identification card (ID), bearing the exact address, and is only valid for authorized activities above-mentioned carried within his or her city, municipality or residence.

On the other hand, the road or travel pass should be presented by those who reside in any municipality or city in Misamis Oriental and those who come from any province outside Misamis Oriental to work or transact business in this province.

The road/travel pass, which is issued by the health officer of the city or municipality where the said person resides or the business for which he/she is transacting in Cagayan de Oro and/or Misamis Oriental is registered, must be presented together with an ID or certificate of employment.

The police are ordered to ensure the strict implementation of the executive order.
