TWO men believed to be salvage victims were found on Thursday morning, October 25, in Barangay Camp 8, Toledo City, Cebu.

Superintendent Randy Korret, the city police chief, identified the victims as Juniel Abatayo, 26, and Abelardo Salomag, 44.

He said passersby found the victims sprawled on the roadside past 5 a.m.

Some residents in Camp 8 heard gunshots not far from the village.

Korret said the fatalities were possibly killed in the interior portion of the village and were thrown by the culprits to the roadside.

He added that initial investigation showed that the two were reportedly involved in carnapping incidents in Toledo City in the past. (KAL)
