A BUSINESSMAN, whose son is a barangay election candidate, was wounded in different parts of his body after he was shot past 2:30 a.m. Monday, May 14, on Lopez Jaena St. in Barangay Poblacion, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
Police identified the wounded as Eduardo Sumalinog Godornez, who was about to disembark from his vehicle, a grey Toyota Fortuner, when the attack happened.
Godornez was rushed to a private hospital in Cebu City. He was hit in the left shoulder, upper and lower left leg, and abdomen. (VoxPop Cebu)
