A MAN drowned on Sunday morning, July 8, in the seawaters off Barangay Owak, Asturias, Cebu.
The fatality was identified as Carlito Nable, a resident of Barangay Gaas, Balamban.
Senior Police Officer 1 Dandreb Lambo said the investigation showed that Nable visited his friend Rogelio Yucada in Owak last Saturday. Nable and Yucada drank liquor for hours.
Before Nable was found dead around 6 a.m., he and Yucada went to the sea to catch fish even though they have not yet recovered from hangover from last night's drinking.
Nable later went missing. He was rushed to a public hospital after he was found floating and the attending doctor declared him dead on arrival. (KAL/VoxPop Cebu)
