THE officials of Barangay Kalunasan, Cebu City, will tighten the security of the barangay hall following the killing of Councilor Roel Mabano on Tuesday, July 10.
In a statement, the barangay said they condemn the killing of Mabano.
"We condemn in the strongest possible term the killing of our first termer Kagawad Roel Mabano on broad daylight. He is a dedicated public servant even if he is still on his first term as Barangay Kagawad," read a portion of the statement of Barangay Kalunasan sent to VoxPop Cebu.
"There's no safe place, even in what we considered a secure place. We are seeking justice together with the family of Kagawad Mabano," the statement added. (RVC/VoxPop Cebu)
