A 28-YEAR-OLD man was shot dead by an unidentified assailant past 4 a.m. Friday, September 14, in Alaska, Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City.
The fatality was identified by Mambaling Police Station Deputy Chief Dexter Basirgo as Louie Flores.
The victim is a resident of Bato, Barangay Ermita, Cebu City.
Basirgo said Flores was last seen drinking with his friends on Thursday night, September 13.
The victim later left the group, telling them he had to meet a someone.
Some residents near the crime scene have heard three gunshots.
Two empty shells and a live bullet were recovered in the area. These will be subjected to an examination.
Basirgo said they still are still investigating to determine the motive behind the incident. (KAL)
