A MAN and woman were found dead with gunshot wounds in the head on Tuesday morning, July 24, in the mountain village of San Roque, Liloan, Cebu.
Senior Police Officer 1 Jason Gayo, desk officer, said they do not have the identities of the salvage victims yet.
The fatalities succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds in the head.
On the same day, at 6 a.m., an unidentified man whose body was riddled with bullets was found in Barangay Casili, Mandaue City.
An empty shell and a slug of .45 pistol were found in the crime scene. Police believed he was killed in another place and was dumped in the area.
In Liloan, at 9 a.m., farm caretaker Arnel Roble found the body of a woman by the roadside.
Roble first found a pair of slippers soaked in blood in Purok Sandayong 1, San Roque. He then followed a trail of blood and found the body of a woman, who was in white shirt and denim short pants.
He told the police that around 9:30 p.m. Monday, July 23, he heard two gunshots. Afterwards, Roble heard a car leaving the village.
Roble did not go out of the farm as he feared for his life.
Thirty minutes later, a dead man's body was found in Purok Kawasan 1, San Roque, which is about 30 meters from Sandayong 1.
The body was discovered by Prima Sorilla, 62. She told the police that she heard a single burst of gunfire around 10 p.m. Monday, July 23.
Gayo said the man was in white shirt and blue short pants when found by Sorilla.
