THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 7 suspects that high-profile drug personalities whom Baby "Earl" Rallos had operated against may have ordered the ambush that killed him.

PDEA 7 Regional Director Emerson Margate said that the agency is accounting for all the drug cases Rallos handled. Some of their agents, not just Rallos, had received threats.

As for the illegal drugs found in the glove compartment of the officer's car, Margate said that PDEA is conducting an internal investigation.

He said he had not authorized Rallos to carry shabu.

Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 Director Chief Supt. Debold Sinas said that the police already created a special investigation task group headed by Senior Supt. Royina Garma, chief of the Cebu City Police Office.

The drugs found by police crime scene investigators weighed 55.9 grams and would have been worth P640,000 on the streets, based on Dangerous Drugs Board estimates. (JOB)
