THE top police official in Central Visayas assured on Wednesday, September 12, that majority of his personnel are satisfied with the governance of President Rodrigo Duterte.

Chief Superintendent Debold Sinas, the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Visayas director, said they fully support the President and they will not take part should there be any attempt to remove him from office.

"I assure you, kon naay motudlo nga mag-mutiny, kami mouna og aresto sa iyaha," he said. "The PRO 7 is behind the President all the time."

Sinas said the disgruntled officers are the ones they arrested and charged with cases for their involvement in illegal activities, including using of shabu and stealing evidence.

On Tuesday afternoon, September 11, in a one-on-one talk with Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo, Duterte said there is a conspiracy among Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, the Liberal Party and the communists to overthrow him by next month. (KAL)
