THE Mapua MCM Family Day 2024, aimed at fostering inclusivity and strengthening community ties among teachers, parents, and students, will kick off at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the Mapúa MCM Plaza.
Organized by the MMCM High School PTA Board 2024-2025, the event promises a day of bonding, talent showcases, and celebrations of achievements, all designed to reflect the school’s commitment to creating a supportive and engaging environment.
Engr. Alejandro H. Ballado Jr., MMCM executive vice president, chief operating officer, and VP for Academic Affairs, will welcome participants. At the same time, High School Principal Cesar Glenn A. Josio will present and induct the new PTA Board officers.
Exciting family games with prizes will see attendees grouped into color teams—red for junior high school, yellow for Grade 11, and green for Grade 12.
"Aside from the games, we will also have a talent showcase where students will perform with their family members," said PTA Board President Everisa Batu Torres.
Torres said there will also be a raffle of exciting items, goodies, and activities designed to deepen family connections and boost school spirit.
A simple family salo-salo will cap off the event.
In an email to parents, Torres encouraged participation, saying, "We look forward to your participation and enthusiasm in making this Family Day a memorable and meaningful event."
Apart from Torres, also to be inducted are PTA Board officers Susan Tuñacao (vice president), Marianne Abalayan (secretary, parent) and Janyssa Mariae B. Paña (secretary, teacher), Paula Bianca Francisco (treasurer), Althea Rivera Navacilla (auditor), and Lunelyn Calimpusan (business manager) alongside Board members Diego Agad, Melody Dolleson, Chiara Julie Ann S. Sacdalan, April de Leon, Juconz Philip C. Ramirez, Wilfredo Jr. Y. Bulani, and Monet C. Ordiz.
