associates pander him with.
Let’s give our time to listen to stories told a million times, he deserves it. That seems to be the underlying message everyone agrees on. He served the nation well and kept our people safe and provided for through the Covid pandemic, through the Marawi siege, through the typhoons and earthquakes. DSWD and DOH and DPWH were always there assisted by men in uniform on time and in the right place.
That was his retirement plan -- to sing a little and talk a lot, into the first light of dawn.

And now, that piano bar tucked away from the highway is no longer the venue. Even behind bars, the world has become his stage through the power of those he helped and recognized the most -- the OFWs.
The oligarchs will never understand this. Raised to believe they are entitled to power, it is beyond their comprehension that the real power is with the people. All they see is the gall of this 80-year-old stuttering, tottering man to snatch away their power without even calling on people to arise.
They cannot even sense the level of impunity and st*pidity they are exerting all efforts to emasculate this same masses. Like saying, “Don’t bite the hands that feed you…”
