DAVAO DEL SUR — The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Sulop has provided aid to five families whose homes were destroyed by a fire on Saturday night, January 4, 2025, at Purok 3, Poblacion, Sulop.
According to an initial report from the Bureau of Fire Protection-Sulop, the fire broke out in a house within a compound made of light materials, causing the flames to spread quickly to nearby homes. Four houses were completely burned, but thanks to the swift response of Sulop’s firefighters, the fire was extinguished before it could spread further.
Fortunately, no one was injured or killed in the incident. The Sulop fire department is continuing its investigation into the cause of the fire. JPC
