THE Department of Health recorded the first case of firecracker-related injury in Davao Region on December 28, 2018.
"As of December 28 meron pumasok na report na merong isang reported firecracker-related injury sa Municipality of Banganga, Davao Oriental (We received one report of a firecracker-related injury)," DOH-Davao Region health education and promotion officer 3 Yasuy Avila said.
Avila said that they are still waiting for further details of the injured individual.
She added that the monitoring of the firecracker-related injury will continue until January 5,2019.
