DAVAO City Water District on Wednesday, March 6, said a water service interruption is set for 8 p.m. of March 8, 2019 until 4 a.m. of March 9, 2019 in some Catalunan Pequeño areas.
Specific affected areas are SPDA Subdivision, Wellspring Village Expansion, Granville Crest, Samantha Homes, Wellspring Highlands, Pyrite Street of Wellspring Village 1, Granville Subd., Residencia del Rio, and Sitio Walog.
DCWD, in its press statement, needs to temporarily shut off water supply in these areas to give way to the tapping of the newly-realigned pipe crossing that was affected by Department of Public Works and Highways' bridge widening project.
DCWD general manager Edwin V. Regalado asked for the understanding and cooperation of would-be affected customers.
Affected customers were advised to store enough water prior to the scheduled water service interruption. Water supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.
The public may visit DCWD website (www.davao-water.gov.ph) and official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/davaowater) or call the Central Information Unit / Call Center through the 24-hour hotlines 297-DCWD (3293), 0927-7988966, 0925-5113293, and 0908-4410653 for the latest daily water updates, concerns, queries, and other matters pertaining to DCWD services.
