

A TOTAL of six plaques and 17 awards were given to different police stations in the region for Best in Police Community Relations held at Police Regional Office (PRO)-Davao, Monday, July 30.
During the culmination of the Police Community Relations (PCR) Month anchored on the theme: "Tapat na Serbisyo at Paglilingkod ng Kapulisan Kaagapay ang Mamamayan, Hatid ay Kaunlaran", the Silver eagle plaques of recognition were given to Davao Norte Police Provincial Office (DNPPO) and Carmen Municipal Police Station (CMPS) as best PCR units.
Plaques were also given to four best PCR personnel: Police Senior Superintendent (PSUPT) Hamlet Lerios, Police Senior Inspector (PSI) Rosario Aguilar, Special Police Office (SPO) 3 Absarah Kansi and Police Officer (PO) 3 Rodante Ungui.
Meanwhile, the Tagum City Police Office (TCPO) and Talomo Police Station (TPS) received certificates of participation for joining the outstanding PCR units. The awardees of receiving a letter of commendation are PSUPT Julius Borja, PSI Dexter Cuevas, SPO3 Eva Malingin and PO2 Wynzyn Butihen for also joining as outstanding PCR individuals.
As PCR Partners, the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 11 (RMFB11), Regional Health Service 11 (RHS11), Regional Combo (PRO11) and the Regional Communications and Electronics Office 11 (RCEO11) were also given a certificate of appreciation for their support.
The donning of ranks was also conducted for the newly-promoted personnel including Senior Supt. Arnold Palomo as the force commander of RMFB11 and Senior Supt. Ferlu Silvio as the chief of Regional Comptrollership Division (RCD).
"I am thankful to my mother and to everyone for the support and I wish to serve the region more with my life," Palomo said.
