THE City Government of Davao is 85 percent ready in its preparations for what is touted to be the biggest and grandest Kadayawan celebration in Davao City.
Davao City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) head Generose Tecson, during the ISpeak Forum at City Hall, said that the private sector and organizers of activities are getting ready to host the Kadayawan festivities.
"Bawat isang event organizers are also very very busy. We're already there. We're like 85 percent and ready to go," Tecson said.
Tecson, meanwhile, said that one of the highlights, the Hiyas ng Kadayawan, is set at 2 p.m. on August 11 at the RMC Gym, dubbed as The Coronation.
She also invited the public to witness the talent night of the Hiyas candidates on August 10 to be held at Magsaysay Park.
Tecson added that they will just set up the stage of the venues of activities.
