A FIVE-year-old child was raped by their neighbor who was allegedly drunk.
The suspect was 41-year old Eduardo, a resident of Bucana, Barangay 76-A, Davao City. The suspect allegedly brought the child to a vacant lot and molested her using his finger.
Davao City Police Office (DCPO) director Police Senior Superintendent Alexander Tagum said Eduardo is facing charges of rape for violating the Anti-Rape Law or Republic Act 8353.
The case was filed on Monday, December 10.
The suspect denied the crime.
He is currently detained at San Pedro Police Station. (JCR)
